RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY

I understand that participation in a Singles on the Go (hereinafter SOTG) event, activity or trip may involve risk of injury and/or death and loss of or damage to property. I accept and assume such risk and agree not to hold responsible or to sue or to take any other legal action against the officers, directors, organizers, employees, agents, trip leaders, assigns and/or volunteers of SOTG for liability for any death or injury to my person or damage to or loss of my property, however caused, including their negligence, carelessness, recklessness and/or fault.

I recognize that SOTG is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. I understand that I am required to have paid my SOTG dues up to date, to participate in an SOTG event, activity or trip. I have read this SOTG Release and Waiver of Liability carefully and understand that by signing it, I lose my right to sue. This is binding on me, my estate, my family members, personal representatives or executors of my estate, heirs and beneficiaries. I expressly agree that this Release and Waiver of Liability is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted under applicable law and that if any portion thereof is held invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full force and effect. I further agree that this SOTG Release and Waiver of Liability shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. I agree to allow my photo, video, likeness, audio or other media to be used by the officers, directors, organizers, employees, agents, trip leaders, assigns and volunteers of SOTG, for the purpose of reporting or promoting any activity of SOTG.

I have read, understand and voluntarily sign this SOTG Release and Waiver of Liability and waive any and all liability against SOTG and/or its officers, directors, organizers, employees, agents, trip leaders, assigns and volunteers for any death or injury to my person or damage to or loss of my property, however caused, including but not limited to their negligence, recklessness, carelessness and/or fault. I further agree that no oral representations or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made. I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent and execute this Release and Waiver of Liability for full, complete and adequate consideration.
